Many thanks to RNR, LL, PWC and the others for getting this group up and running and properly publicized. Especially thank Roy for his assistance in fixing the glitches to let me log in here.

I see a lot of new and unfamiliar names in the logbooks these days. Good to see that this little hobby of ours is getting some more traction.

For those of you who I haven't met-- my name is Brian, and I've been doing this for about 2.5 years off and on. I wouldn't describe myself as a numbers junkie, but I am an admitted radius slave. I like to keep the number of unfound caches within 50 miles of home down to a GC page or two. Right now (after not actively caching for several months), I have 12 pages of unfound caches within my radius, so I have some work to do.

I'm also a fan of the "challenge" caches. I've completed the N. Florida county challenge, and I'm close to completing the S. Florida challenge. I'm making some headway on the Alabama DeLorme and County challenges, and I've completed the AL Alphabet Soup challenge. I've completed the prereqs for the "One Busy Day" challenge, but haven't logged a find for one yet. I'm also working on the Fizzy challenge requirements.
